In HS a couple of guys got in a fight over me. I really was hanging, but not dating either of them.
I think I liked the attention, but was glad no one got seriously hurt.

I have fought over the affections of another.

I have never fought over the attentions of another.

No fight, but lost friend (s) over the attentions of another.

I have never done it, personally, but I've been in the middle of it. One of my good mates and I look almost identical and he has a girlfriend. So random guy liked his girlfriend and came up to me and hit me -.- He got his arse handed to him because, unlike my friend, I have combat and martial arts training. All the while my mate is standing there and laughing his head off because that bloke hit me instead of him.
When finally someone breaks it all up, and this guy gets down to explaining why he did what he did, he calls me by my friends name -.- Unbloody believeable haha, I started laughing.
I mean, I would have stepped in if my friend was in a fight, cause lets face it, he's a pathetic fighter haha, but someone could have at least roughed him up a bit hahahha

Concidering you are under 18, i can imagine it looked like a few justin biebers hugging each other, i would only fight for my gf, or a girl i date, but a girl I've never even spoken to, no way, only if she is in a world of shit getting jumped by someone.

what makes you think they were fighting over you, did they actually say it,... i can't imagine that some random guys would start beating up each other over a girl that they aren't even seeing, or dating... excuse me when im wrong. by the way i would take it even a step further if someone ever treathens or touches my gf/wife:) i wouldn't even think about it twice. yeha im having problems with this forum as well, how can i delete my postings or comments

My first boyfriend clobbered a guy in our friend group for talking to me one day. That same day I went to confront him about it and he attacked me. So... guys coming to blows over you isn't flattering. The guy friend won that one and the boyfriend was kicked to the curb. It's not flattering to be standing a foot away from someone calmly discussing a math problem and having a fist come flying out of no where and suddenly the person you were talking to is on the ground being beaten by an enraged boyfriend.

Well, most girls don't antagonize the situation. Guys sometimes jump conclusions and act out. I think it's an insecurity issue, not necessarily the girls" fault.

I never said it was the girl's fault, but if she does nothing to try and stop the jealousy between the two guys it means she can't make up her mind on what she wants... It's not pleasant to not be someone's number one choice when they are yours.
