Yes I think it is and I'm the same way as you. Like when I go to birthday party's especially when it's like in a restaurant and they come out singing to someone, I'm like I couldn't take that. I never had my own birthday party and don't want one either especially that. And now if I were out at some public event and someone started singing to me like from a stage, I'm walking out of there right quick buddy for sure.
I think you have what I call secondary social anxiety. You in your mind put yourself in there shoes and get anxious like your doing the singing. I have secondary cringing.
