What does it mean when a guy says "we'll see..."

I was talking to a guy I was interested in and he knows that I am into him; we are friends and he says he isn't looking. That's fine but then the friendship became a little rocky. I didn't feel as if he was my friend, he was detached a lot. I confronted him and asked if he hated me, he said no... at the end of the conversation I said I hope everything is gonna be fine and he said don't worry everything will be, I interrupted and said "fine with us" he said we'll see...

i guess this is a dilemma more common then anyone wants to admit exists. sadly I'm in the same situation with a girl I like and I felt the same way I convinced myself that she hates me and wants no part of me then I see her without a her boyfriend and she's remembering the littlest details about convos we had and then I realize she is paying attention she just can't give me her undivided attention. my point is either he's torn with his feelings, scared of them or he knows you like him more then he may like you and he doesn't know how to react so he backs off. it sucks. I'm living through it right now. Its taken me some time and stress relief( running) to try to make myself available to others. I heard a quote that said" why make someone your number one priority if you are there number 2" I know its easier to give advice then take..i should take it myself but I too have hope things will work out.. time maybe the only saving grace... we'll is the same thing I went through and I got a similar response... its pretty much what it means we'll talk when we can or we'll remain friends without referring to the elephant in the room. it tens to lean towards avoiding and that really sucks. hopefully I could shed some light on your situation.

Wow, you are right in your own way. I wanted to to talk to him in person about this and he said he would come over, thursday but never did. On friday he said he will come over.. I texted him and he said I was going to this evening but something happen. That something that happen was me dropping his friend off at his place for the evening. I asked if he was really coming and he said he might not, so we texted. I said I didn't want to talk about it on the phone he thought I was playing mind games..

he's confused, he's unsure, and doesn't know what he wants...probably afraid to commit to a specific girl if they were in fact for the wrong reasons. He's unsure about how he feels about you...my guess is he's picky with girls and is looking for a specific type of girl.

He may just have a lot of unnecessary things stressing him out which is impairing his decision making skills.

Personally, if I was talking to a girl that I knew was into me...I'd be honored. It's depends if I'm attracted to her physically, sexually and emotionally though.

I think I am attractive but he is like the type of guy who is unique and is not looking type. He says he's alone all his life and don't need anyone. I don't know.. I like him so much and he is so secretive. He doesn't let people know and it kinda bothers me. I don't know

He's def depressed and trying to isolate himself....he is probably affraid to get close to someone.

Ik I met this girl who was affraid to get close to anyone, but I fixed that and now she clings to me

Im not the type to "cling" but I really wish I knew what I was doing "doing" I would text him every now and than and he wouldn't reply. He says I'm annoying but he is also annoying me with this lack of communication...

I guess maybe time is the only solution.

It sound slike you are both insecure about the relationship. He isn't in any hurry and doesn't want any pressure. Let him have time and space or he'll just withdraw, I would bet.

I guess so, but I also don't understand we rarely ever talk.
