Something that I've noticed throughout my life is that many young women are always looking to get into relationships or have one night stands with older men and I don't understand it.
Usually, it has to do with this, if for the right reasons:
1. Older male wants to marry, A lot of young males today abhors marriage 2. Older males maybe more mature psychologically, A lot of young males still wants to be a 'toys 'r' us' kid 3. Older males may show to be more reliable, responsible and trustworthy 4. May desire and honor virginity more, than the younger males who usually wants to experience sex early.
And if it's for the wrong reasons; usually because they have a lot of issues with having no father or issues with their dads. Plus women usually seek guys whoa re like their fathers if they were good male role model's, and sadly even if they weren't subconsciously. Though it's not always the case. In truth, I can't blame them when it's for the right reasons. I don't like how a lot of younger guys treats women anyway, and vice versa with immature girls. However, mature young men won't have a problem getting the right girl, but it may take a very long time if some of the girls he's attracted to doesn't want to change for the better themselves.
I think it is because boys mature slower than girls... girls mature faster and at a young age they are usually looking up to / crushing on the older guys... the ones in bands, pop singers, celebrities, etc. Girls, I believe, understand and develop the idea of romance/love/crushing faster than a guy and at an earlier age, thus they tend to like the guys who are more experienced with that stuff (older guys) because that's what they fancy. Also, older guys look more mature, possibly not as youthful or feminine, and have more sharp, defined, handsome features that develop as guys get older. In addition to this they have more experience with everything in life, are more wise, and most likely have a stable job and home life which is attractive to the vast majority of young girls. Last, I think a girl feels more protected with an older guy... if the guy is her age she can feel like they are maybe friends/peers, if younger, she could feel as if he is a younger brother or cousin... it just doesn't feel right.
It's not something that I'm personally after but I think for most girls it's because girls (generally) are looking for someone emotionally mature and 20 year old guys aren't necessarily great for that. An older guy is often someone with life experience and wisdom and he is probably in a much more stable position in life than a younger guy. He's also more likely to be thinking about settling down into a serious and committed relationship than a young guy would, after all the young guy still has his youth and time to party and not be tied down. This is all stereo typically, of course, it doesn't apply to everyone but it's just what I've gathered from other girls' views.
Whats your definition of older men? Like that pic? Definitely daddy issues. She looks 19 and he's 50. Now I'd say with around the 5 to 10 year range is normal and natural. Take my age and a 20 year old guy. I are more stable, ready to have a real true commitment, more confident, know how to treat a woman. When s 20 year old women sees that odds are she's gonna pick the 25 year old over the 20 year old. Let's look at it naturally just think about cavemen ages. A younger women has perkier breasts and better child bearing abilities so are positives for older guys. And the plus side for girls would older men are strong and stable.
1. Older men are more attentive lovers. 2. Older men are not in a hurry. 3. Older men treat younger girls like they are princesses. 4. Older men are more confident. 5. Older men buy them nicer dinners. 6. Older men will call them the next day. 7. Older men will ask what she needs to have an orgasm. 8. Older men will open the car door, help them get seated, and otherwise act chivalrous. 9. Older men will smile the whole time they are with a younger girl. 10. Older men want more than just sex.
I disagree. It all depends on a person. If you're a jerk as a young guy, you'll be a jerk when you get older. Aging will not make you more confident, caring, or polite. It's a fallacy that many young women fall for. So when it comes to younger women and older men it's really simple: men want young body and women want money. Nothing new here.
@LondonNewYork Everything always depends on the particular person you have under review. That does not negate trends. If you have a contrary experience, I can't tell you to ignore your experience.
I do disagree that a young man who is a jerk will always be a jerk.
Aging, by itself, does not make a man more polite or considerate. However, if a man uses his brain and learns from his experiences, he will become a better man as he gets older.
Neither of us can "prove" what we say, so if we disagree, that's okay.
My rule since turning 18 has always been 4 years older, and no more. I won't date over 4 years older than me.
My boyfriend though, who honestly... is my true love. I can't even explain how much I love him and I'll go on a rant about it if I try... he's younger than me. I'm 19 almost 20, and he's 18.
A younger man talks a good game; an older one shows up and gets the job done. Just saying. And yes, I know that there are exceptions. But I don't have time for the games that young guys play. I want a man who makes things happen without all the drama.
Well haha... older men typically have MONEY. There is also this 'grey fox' look, where their hair is kinda salt and pepper, but I think it's mainly the money thing...
They are hotter, smarter, and mature. I like that. And I am talking about guys in their 20s, not a guy who could be my grandfather (like in the pic above 👆😆).
I know this is going to sound weird but maybe younger women like older men because they remind them of their father's. Like they need a father's type figure who know's what he wants and will take action.
They're seen as masculine. Example: a 14 year old girl likes 17 year old boys because they are more masculine than boys of her own age, but when she turns 17, she'll like boys her own age.
