Most women my age or younger prefer older men but I’m different and prefer younger 18+. Why do people look at me weirdly for my preferences?

I am almost 25 years old. Yes I’m aware of the different places in life and maturity levels an 18 year old and 25 year old can be but I deeply love my fiancé. I care about him a lot. He treats me better than guys twice my age or even guys I’ve dated my own age. I always felt disgusted and grossed out from the point I was 18 to my current age 24, whenever older men tried to hit on me or flirt with them. I’m just simply NOT attracted to them! I don’t like gray hair, beards, mustaches, wrinkles, etc. I can’t help my attraction. My 18 year old fiancé has a baby face but he’s taller than me, he's also full of energy and adrenaline like me even though I’m older. I have an inner child still, I’d rather be playing video games than at a party or club drinking with people or dancing. I’d rather be at a fair or Disney land acting like kids with my partner. This is just a pattern I notice in society that young women like older men or most but I DONT and I think it’s strange how society tries to force what they think is the norm on people who don’t wanna live their lives like that.

Everyone has their own preferences in partners. If you like younger guys, good for you. If someone else likes older partners, good for them. Nobody should treat anyone differently for their choices. If it makes you happy to date younger men, go ahead and date them

Thanks so much. Honestly next to him nobody even notices I’m older or bats an eye unless I was to disclose like” hey I’m 25 and he’s 18” literally nobody notices or treats us differently because I look like I’m still 20-22 and I take very good care of my skin and health and don’t abuse my skin with bad substances so I choose NOT to smoke or drink or wear makeup.

Older women aren't attractive, young men who have old girlfriends are simps, so they treat them well, because it's the most they could hope for.

@penedetoro I guess that’s your opinion and view okay.. I get told a lot I look 20 even though I’m 25 and I don’t wear makeup, always on top of my skincare and don’t drink alcohol or smoke. There was this lady who who came in my store at my job and she told me she was 21 but she looked 30 because she was obese, she had packed makeup on and she just looked like she’s had a rough life.. I know for a fact next to her I could pass for the 21 year old plus I’m latina.

I am also Latino, Latin Americans with indigenous genetics have high neoteny, so it may indeed be true that you look younger.

@penedetoro the notion is most women look older because of their lifestyle habits or plastic surgery. I despise of that and I wouldn’t get surgery ever unless it was life or death. I just don’t care to abuse my skin with bad substances and I stay very active exercising everyday. My fiance was with a girl his age but she already had a past with a high body count as a teenager and she acted super entitled and self centered. I chose to not give my body away till I was 22 and he’s only the 3rd guy I’ve had sex with.
