I found a hair clip in my boyfriend's room...should I be worried?

Well its definitely not mine so I'm not sure what to think. I asked him really calmly with no tone (not accusing) and I simply said who's is this..? and he said he Doesn't know and got a little deffensive but stopped and started being sweet after I said babe its not mine, has there been any other girls here? He claimed maybe its his brother's g/f's and his dad put it in his room thinking its mine...I trust him but should I be worried, and should I ask his brother's girlfriend if it is hers? thanks

I wouldn't try to find anything. I mean I think quinnerzz may have a good idea but you snooping might just get him angry and make things worse. I'd trust him until something else comes up. And if it turns out he was well, f*** him he got away with it, I bet he really feels like a man. He was just an ass hole and you can leave him behind. But in my old boyfriend's room there was all kinds of girl stuff left around, half from his brother's girlfriend, half from friends who were girls that he had over. You don't want to create more problems and if you're looking for problems you'll find them, I promise you, even if they're nothing there. Placebo effect works with this stuff, too. So everything is fine. It's just a hair clip, there are a thousand reasons it could have gotten there. So unless something big comes up just let it be, don't think about it. I'm sure everything is fine.

On the other hand he did get defensive, but that could just be because he realized you weren't accusing or getting angry. It's a tough situation, I don't envy you. I suggest follow Quinnerzz advice but don't hunt for things. Just look at the situations. Don't TRY to find things. Just see what's going on, note things that seem off, but don't let it get to you otherwise you might mess everything up.

yeah I wouldn't worry girlie...im sure he's telling the truth..now I once found underwear in my bfs room! How do you think I felt! LOL But, I trust him..he lives with other people and a lot of people come and go through there..who knows..maybe someone planted it there on purpose because they don't want us to be happy..trust is they key...yeah it still makes me wonder...but I have to trust him...the other day I found a girls bracelet on his floor..and I freaked..turns out it was his little cousins..because we saw her that day and right in front of me he asked her if she knew whos it was..she said her...so who knows. Weird stuff happens lol. I found a pair of boxers in my room..I was like WTF?! lol...WEIRD. :-)

Well take a deep breath, clear your mind and think of the facts. Had you found a used condom or some other girl's thong, then there would be cause for alarm. At this point though, there are many, many logical explanations. In fact the one given makes a lot of sense even. If he has given you no other indications of potentially cheating on you other than this, I would dismiss it entirely. However, if any other female objects begin showing up, it may be time to do a little deeper digging. If CSI is any indication, yank a hair out of that clip for DNA testing :)

well, that is a hard to answer. there isn't much evidence of him cheating, its just a hariclip. a hairclip that another girl could have indeed worn, but you just can't know. try and find out more. look for days that he isn't available when he should be, unnatural changes in the way he talks to you, then you'll know if he's cheating on you.

something like that happened to me. my last ex (a brunette) found a blond hair on my pillow and she freaked out on me. I had no idea how it got there but she said I was lying to her. turns out it belonged to my sister's friend. before my sister had satellite TV in her room she would watch TV in my room if I wasn't home. her friend came over and they watched a movie. her friend just happened to use my pillow to prop her head up when she was lying down.

there could be a logical explanation but just make sure you find out everything you can first before you start with any accusations

Something like that happened to me. My girl found some make-up in my car once and asked me who's it was. I had no freaking clue where it came from! She then accused me of cheating. To this day I wonder how that stuff got there, it's really weird. But being accused of cheating hurt me deeply because I had done nothing wrong and I thought it was the most unfair attack on me and I had no way of defending myself.
