How are shy guys around girls they like?

SO I like this guy...

He used to be really shy, but he's outgoing now.

He used to like my friend, and they went out twice.

But before they went out, I've never seen him talking to her.

And I've heard that shy guys can't easily talk to girls they like...

We used to be uhh good friends? I guess.

But it was like a friend thing, not Because we liked each other.

But then lately, people have been telling me that he likes me.

I'm not sure though, because he stopped talking to me, while he talks to other girls a lot...

Well we still talk, but it's me who usually starts the converstations, these days.

So I'm really not sure...

How would shy guys act around girls they like, if they're outgoing with other girls?

Oh I forgot to mention, if I stare at him, he stares back.

If I catch him staring at me, he doesn't look away.

When he's around girls he's not attracted too(ugly girls#, he's not nervous, his shyness doesn't activate. when he's around girls he likes#hot girls#, his shyness kicks in, and he avoids talking to them.

If he's checking you out#stareing), then he likes you. My advice, get him alone, shy guys are more open to talking when they know nobody else is there to see the interaction.

it really all depends on the "shy guy". he might feel so comfortable around you that he isn't so shy anymore

Before going out with him, you MUST ask your friend if it's OK to go out with him. Girls do it, and guys do it. It's just the way it is

I don't see why you need to ask permission from someone he's not going out with whether you can go out with them? That other girl don't own him or anything, he is an individual, independent of himself no one else should be able to dictate what he can or cannot do? Obviously if they are still on and off then I guess you should ask, but if they've been apart for a while there's really no reason to ask.

Because like if one of my friends wanted to date my ex, I would feel a little uneasy if he didn't ask me first. It's just a rule, that's how it is
