What do guys think when they stare at a girl's lips?

I noticed that some guys stare at my lips- not necessarily when I'm talking but even when they're talking to me and I'm listening/ looking at them. I don't wear brightly colored lip gloss or any of that and my lips aren't huge or anything- they really normal looking. What do guys think when they do this?

A lot of the time, I'm looking at a girl's smile. Not necessarily her lips. Actually, I very rarely look at a girl's lips. It's all about the eyes / smile. They're likely doing the same. Though, it's also noteworthy that people tend to look at the lips of the person they're talking to when they want to kiss them

I look at girls lips sometimes. Don't mean anything about it most of the time. I did read before that its normal for you to look at a persons mouth during a conversation. Maybe they think you got nice lips. Your probably just over thinking it all though which is causing you to notice it more.

I was always led to believe that it means they want to kiss you.

I sometimes do it (consciously) to my girlfriend while she's talking, and then kiss her.
