A very affectionate girlfriend...Am I crazy for wanting this?

I've always dreamed of having a very affectionate girlfriend, a relationship where we're crazy about each other and together nearly 24/7

I would kill for such a girl! Everyone keeps saying how bad is to be "clingy" but that kind of girl is what I want and need!

It's also popular to say "enjoy to be single" but in all honesty I hate to be single! I enjoyed being single when I was a little kid but now it's torture!

I'm not lonely, I got a life, I got friends but hell I feel lonely, despite all those people around.

I'm not desperate, I know I'm a catch, girls keep telling me that I'm attractive all the time yet I have went through a couple of rejections (or so I perceived the difference of our interest early, I fall fast) and I still haven't found the one - I got high standards, although the most strict of them are personality-wise.

Love is crazy, it's passionate, in fact it's absolutely insane! But it's the only reason we live, the only thing which makes any sense and meaning, without it it's better being dead!

I'm a super clingy girlfriend and love giving out affection and complinents etc.

However with true clingyness comes possessiveness, obsession, jealousy, paranoia and upset.

I want to be with my partner 24/7 so therefore get jealous when I can't be and he's with someone else. I constantly worry about him, wondering if he's OK and if he's hurt or anything. I get upset very quickly if he doesn't reply to my texts and worry why I haven't been replied to. I know the passwords to all hiscemail accounts/Facebook/ebay etc and have regularly looked on them. I could continue slating myself but I'll stop. Rest assured I am about as clingy as they come. It takes a very special person to put up with me.

I think by clinginess you just mean a close passionate relationship where you see each other a lot. You probably think that what I've described isn't what you want. That you'd never date a girl like me. But I promise you, if a girl starts off 'cute clingy' she will invariably end up scary clingy. Heed my words; you have been warned.

Those things don't scare me, when a girl gets jealous and wonders I'm OK, it really flatters me! And I hate when my texts aren't replied too so I can totally relate to that.

I don't think that's crazy at all. People say it's bad to be "clingy" because at the beginning of a relationship/dating, it can turn a girl off if it's too much.

I wasn't clingy with my now-bf at first. He wanted to hang out often and always texted/called me. We were friends for awhile before that and I was getting over someone else so it took me a bit to adjust to the fact that we were more than friends.

Now though, I could be called clingy in an affectionate, passionate way. My boyfriend and I text all day throughout the day and we're with each other (whether at home or out somewhere) I feel like I constantly want to touch him lol. Whether it's holding his hand or tapping his butt when I walk by, I need the physical contact. He's not so big into pda, so I have to control myself when we're out :-P

Like a hungry guy who says he could literally eat a horse... I hope you get your wish, and then you'll realize why people who knew better tried to tell you that clingy girls are so annoying.

You're lonely and horny. At this point, even clingy attentive girls seem awesome because you're starved for over-affection.

But once that starvation is sated, and you've had enough, and she keeps on supplying it... you will get sick of it. It's human nature.

I'm not really lonely and my sex drive isn't super-high either, I'm quite tame, and I've wished this since early teens until now and nothing has changed, distant "independent" girls turn me off.
