A guy i just met calls me mom sometimes mammy or mommy. were just friends. strarted when we were fooling around oj text and he pretended to be my husband and i pretended to be his wife and he was threatening to punish our kids for misbehavior and I was begging him not to that I will fix it. it was so funny. but that's when I got tagged 'mom'. Were real close now and I like it. feels ok cos he don't act like a baby or something. he's actually all dominant. don't worry about it. one day I just asked and he said "cause ur gona be mom to my kids' so we just laughed. lol. its nothing.

I have this boy-friend that he say that I make him remember her mom and he always put his head on my arm or closer to my chest, not in a bad way, just like laying down
There is a term in the relationship world called mothering and men don't like to be mothered. Mothering refers to the act of correcting people, making sure they're taking care of themselves, etc. If you have this type of tendency, even if you do it for sincere and unselfish reasons, you will have the label of mom or mother applied to you.
when a guy calls you MOM its almost the ultimate compliment <3
when a guy calls you mom more times than not he likes you or views you as a girl that is cool as heck to hangout with
you're the person they will come to with their problems or just to small talk in general
hope that makes sense

Actually no,
It started with guys calling each other "dad".
Just super casually for no real reason.
And then it spread into calling girls "mom".
And now girls are calling their favorite female celebrities "mom" on Twitter.
It doesn't mean too much. I would hold it akin to "dude".
Or at the most, the ironic tone of "Senpai".
Just google it.It means you act like a mom. They do it as an insult. Whenever you get called mom, guy's are insinuating that you're treating them like their mom does. For example, you may say "hey, pick that up," and they'll respond "ok, mom." So, yes, it's like you're nagging them like a mother.
Not a term of endearment.I would playfully call a girl mom like in role play but it doesn't mean she was bossing me
i wanted to be bossed by her or want her to act like she was my mom on my part it was
a careless role playing act that never means to hurt the feelings of any girl cause i don't
do that stuff.. Now my dad would call my late mother "mom" but than he his friend would
call him "Dad" But in your case sounds like the guy thinks your acting like his momI say that sometimes it's a way that somebody signifies that you're important to them.
My friend Pablo calls a few good friends of his mom and he loves them. So I guess it just depends on the person but from what I've seen it normally means that they consider you a good friend. Or they just call you mom to show that you're acting like a mother instead of a peer.Gee, thanks mom. Like that? They are making fun of you but not in a bad way. More like teasing you. Sometimes guys say things like that and often times it offends the girl but they didn't really mean to offend them. I wouldn't take it too seriously or personally. I know one guy who makes fun of everyone, but he doesn't hate them or anything. It's just his humor.
I've done that before. Like for instance a girl I talk with online she asked me sometimes if I ate enough and stuff like that she was worried about me so I called her mom just cause she was acting like one.
Cuz you act like their mommy. "Should" people much? "You should do this" or "You should do that"? Consider just not doing that anymore. Not only is it not your job to try to fix people, but you can't do it anyway.
Might not be a bad thing, if it sounds more like an endearment. Could be that you come across as mature in a way they like.
It's a mannerism that men use and it could be harmless, as he's just being cordial, or he thinks you're hot. If you want to know if he likes you, just go for it!! Life is too short.
I wouldn't associate a girl I like with my mum, that just makes it weird. If I call a girl mum it means she's been friend-zoned.
A long time ago, I would occasionally accidentally call girls "mom". It was extremely embarrassing, but I just pretended that I was making fun of them.
It means you're a pushy nag. It's definitely not a term of endearment.
U should act simple with them when they call u mom they reply with sweetly in that manner which they think u don't care anything they will be the answers of your response to them
My parents have been married over 25 years and my father calls his wife mom. And has been for a long time, maybe the young guys these days hear their fathers saying it and just repeats it.
Probably because you have big boobs and he wants to suck on them or you could be older than them
He either has an Oedipus complex or he thinks you baby him
Honestly... it could show signs of attraction and that's really all I can say. The odd thing is a girl (who is my crush) called me (a guy) her Mom...
It means he doesn't want you to tell him what to do and how to live his life
... all I can think is “sangwoo” sorry but does he have mommy issues
