Why do guys love to be called papi?

My ex boyfriend who was white (I'm Hispanic) used to go crazy when I called him papi. He loved that shit and I have no idea why. Personally, I hated saying it because it felt weird that he like it so much lol. But I've noticed some guys who aren't Hispanic love when Spanish girls call them "papi" especially during sex. Any answers or opinions?

It's just hot I suppose. My wife is mixed and she doesn't all me that as it would seem weird since she calls her grandfather (who raised her) that. She does say daddy in bed sometimes and I think that's hot even though some guys/girls think it's weird.

I think it would only work from a Spanish speaking person, yes, you need the accent or it would just be completely out of context. But even so, I think the connection to 'daddy' might be somewhat offputting. Some would love it though.

I think "papi" just sounds a lot more sexual than "daddy" but that's just my opinion. It's used a lot in my culture you can literally almost call any guy papi and they wouldn't blink unless they're not Hispanic but by ex would get sooo turned on and i just had no idea why lol
