when a guy randomly texts you before he goes to sleep to say good night?(Not when you already were texting) Does this mean he thinks about me before he goes to sleep? Do you guys do this to only girls you think of that way?

im in a weird friends/more than friends relationship with this guy in a city 8 hours away from me. we aren't in a relationship, but weve both confessed feelings for each other.

he sometimes texts me during the day, but even if we haven't spoken, he'll text me good night so I know he's thinking about me.

Honestly, it means he's thinking about you. And the truth is, that if someone goes to sleep thinking of you, if you were the last person he spoke to or just on his mind in general, he'll likely dream about you or wake up thinking about you. It's a good thing.

That was just one example of many reasons why I would text her goodnight...i think you're overanalyzing his texts...you could just ask him why he texts you goodnight?
