Red wine or white wine for a work party?

I am having a business dinner party that I have to put together at the end of May. Its my company's 7th anniversary and most of my employees have been with the business since we opened the doors. Do I serve red wine or white wine or a little bit of both? I don't want to do open bar because it will get out of hand.

What are you guys even serving for food? Let me know the menu and I will tell you. Since Ideally you want both. But if you tell me the menu I will tell you what your best bet is as a culinary foodservice management person

chicken apple walnut salad, shrimp and vegie skewers, mini meatballs, mini grilled tilapia tacos, sherbert with berries and stuff spinach and cheese shells is what we have so far.

You definitely want both and since acid is your friend when it comes to seafood go with a sauvignon blanc and with a merlot because it is a friendly red that isn't overpowering

Both. Ideally, it should pair well with the food you're serving.
