Why is cutting yourself bad?

I don't understand, I've been cutting for years, depression and stress, and all of a sudden it's bad. It a very good stress reliever, other than sex, but it's not like I'm hurting anyone. Why is it bad?

You may think it's a good stress reliever but really a better way would be to tackle your problems head on and if you cannot do that there is no shame in asking someone you trust to help you. To cut yourself is really awful it can lead to infections and the scars won't give you a good look if you want to go out with your friends or family you are going to upset them and I'm sure that they worry about you.

INfection and sepsis. and cause you havn't fracture the whole arm, try it and get high.

If you get an infection, you could lose your entire arm... That thing will go rancid faster than you'll realize, then the doctors will have to amputated it. If that is what you want to risk by cutting for stress then go for it, but god forbid that happens to you. It happened to an uncle of mine. Lost his right leg.

Causing pain upon your body is not normal and it's not healthy.

There's nothing wrong with selfharm, its just considered taboo and too many people try to make it there business
