My period is a mess, i mean a serious mess, it's not regular AT ALL ! normal girls have it every month , i don't ! sometimes it takes 1 month, sometimes 1 and a half sometimes 2 , it depends on her mood, not mine, HER's ! i have pains every where , back, breasts, vagina and especially stomach bt what bugs me the most is that i become stressed what makes me so unsenstive to others around me and it gets really bad , i just don't know what to , does that happen to you too? should i go and see a doctor?

Yes you should see a gynecologist. It's not just about the pain but the regularity. It is supposed to be every month. I had some friends who didn't have it every month, they saw a gynecologist and tried different pills or treatment to get it right and now it'a all good. When you feel like it's different than other women, it's for the best to see a gynecologist.

Before I was on the pill I also experienced lots of awful pains. I remember always laying on my bathroom floor, crying cause of that intense cramps. My periods weren't irregular per say but the pain was definitely similar to what you experience. You should go to the doctor. If it's unbearable then you should seek a doctor:)

Yes, mine used to be like that. And it's common for most females to have abnormal periods, especially if your a teenager. Puberty causes this because our bodies are constantly changing.
Talk to your doctor. Birth control can help regulate them.

I also don't have periods anymore.

Because my doctor put me on the depo shot.
My periods were making me anemic due to heavy bleeding and painful cramps.

Now I don't have to worry about that.

I have similar issues and always have done, I went twelve months once without having a period. Im on the IUD now, non hormonal and its sorted out the times (sort of, I'm still more like a 5-6week cycle though) but it's a lot heavier. I feel like I need a blood transfusion some days!

LOL ! but if you don't have any cycts then you really have nothing to worry about...

oh :( sorry to hear that , but you can always check and after having babies you can get rid of them as far as am concerned so you should be fine :)

see a gyn. however depending on your age it's normal for it to still not be regular. as far as pains, etc eating foods high in magnesium (or taking a suppliment) should fix that by your next monthly. some women take molasses everyday to deal with period issues too. it's high in even more minerals so supposedly helps regulate hormones.

also, walking helps get rid of pain. avoid birth control pills, they'll just bribg you new problems.

yeah exactly ! almost everyone here suggested birth control pills but i have heard they might cause cancer , i will go and see a doctor and if she gives me birth control pills i won't be taking any honestly , i just wanna make sure i don't have any cysts. also, just be aware cyst don't always cause pain. I had a pretty big one a few months ago, without any pain at all. I only went to het check because of other weird changes. they do go away on their own most the time, like mine did. thank goodness! just don't ever ignore sudden changes or wait to get them checked out and you should be ok. and of course prevention is alway the best medicine. try the magnesium.

Yes see a doctor. I do know though, in the first year or two of starting your period, they can be an irregular mess before they sort themselves out and become regular. Diet, stress and activity level also have major effects on periods, much more than people think.

I had that and just went on birth control to even me out. Best thing I ever did. But if you have had your period for a few years and it's still not regular best to go see a doctor and see why as it could be due to a reproductive problem.

Well mine was due to PCOS which means I have cysts on my ovaries. Which if left untreated can cause serious problems and also make it very hard to conceive when you want to have children.

Took me like 12 years. But best to get looked at as soon as possible. There are ways to treat it, but mine was severe at the time. I had a friend that never knew about hers and her cysts were so bad that she hahad to have a hysterectomy at 25 because they wouldn't stop growing and putting her health at risk. She had never had a problem until one exploded. I don't say that to scare you as many many women have this, but to let you know it can. Be a serious matter.

Go see a doctor. It sounds very much like pcos. Lots of people have it. It can be better regulated using birth control.

oh it's always what's keeping it late ! you have no idea ! i have never had it early except for 1 time , it was like 3 weeks but you should be okay, early is okay, late is not !
