I would go to a doctor. You could have bruised something or pulled something (I Just pulled a tendon in my back last week it's REALLY uncomfortable)
It's weird that it can hurt by lightly touching it though, is it near your tailbone? (those are pretty easy to bruise and can hurt to the touch)
Since this has persisted for a few days I would go to a doctor, at least for some good pain meds if nothing else.

Well it can be a lot of things. If you happen to have large breasts that can cause back problems, Your period can be another one, If your overweight, if you lift heavy objects on a regular basis, and the list goes on but you can't pinpoint what it is until you've seen a doctor
It could be kidney infection, your menstrual cycle about to start,
could be strained muscles.. you really need to see a doctor or go to ER

First you need to tell us what part of your back? Lumbar (lower) Thoracic (Upper starting after rib cage) Or has it nothing to do with your spine area?
You need to be very specific if you want the right answer. Soft beds are no good as when you sleep in them our hips become out of balance and cause back pain.there's these people called doctors who diagnose these things. maybe you should see one of them.
