If I have pink eye, should I stay home from work?

Would it be bad if I went to work? I work at a grocery store but it seems my managers wouldn't care.

It will get worse with constant exposure to fluorescent light. Best thing to do is stay home, take the antibiotics for it and keep out of bright light, or the swelling will persist and cause even more of the bacteria to grow in your eye.

I did not know exposure to light would hurt it more. I have noticed my eyes have been sensitive to light. Thank you.

You are infectous, but if your managers want you there and you won't get sick leave, just go to work. It's not like being at home would make you feel much better.
