Please help ! what would you do :'( ?

My mom just got her blood test results and she's going to take them to the doctor to see if something's wrong. I am sitting in bed and crying, i am so scared. I want to believe that there may be a chance that she could be healthy, but she's a 53 year old woman, she smokes a lot since she's been 18 and she hasn't taken a blood test since forever. however, she doesn't look like she's in pain or unhealthy or anything.

Please help, what can i do? :( i am only 16

There is nothing wrong with thinking about yourself in this situation (contrary to what the previous post indicates). You are still a child under the care of a parent so it is natural to wonder what would happen to you should your parent have health issues.

You need emotional support as much as your mother may. So don't feel guilty or selfish for those feelings.

The worst thing you can do is constantly expect the worst. You end up stressing yourself over something that may turn out to be minor. However, even if there is a health issue, medicine is very far advanced in this day and age and many conditions are treatable and/or curable. A disease or condition diagnosis doesn't have to be terminal.

Try to think good thoughts. Hope for a good outcome.

Wow! Your mom is hard as hell, even if something would have started in her body it will take minimum 10yrs for anything to happen, and if you are specifically thinking about a disease then tell me. Blood cancer has cure if it's lung cancer (more chances) but even it has cure.
It's just a test don't worry. What were your mom's health symptoms. For which she took test. Or if you know the name of test she took.

No symptoms, we all took blood tests just as a check up on our health

If there are no symptoms then he is totally fine. She should give up on smoking. I suppose her lungs are already 90%damaged before they develop cancer.

Relax, they're only blood tests. Take everything one step at a time. You don't know what the doctor is going to say. Stop thinking of worst case scenarios. It's only going to upset you more.

there is nothing you can do, just relax and wait till the results come back, and if there is something wrong there is still nothing you can do, just be there for her and stop thinking about yourself, if she needs you be there for her

It's ok of u wanna expect the chance that something bad is possible, but funny jump to conclusions

Live in the now, see what u can do for ur mom atm, and handle whatever may come nxt together
