Have you ever had a tooth pulled (other than wisdom teeth)?

Unfortunately I'm getting a molar pulled next week. While it sucks I have to get it pulled and soon after get an expensive implant, I just want it out already. The tooth basically grew in sideways and because of that there is a space under where the tooth touches the tooth next to it, where food and everything got stuck and a cavity formed. Now there's a huge hole in the tooth and the nerve is exposed, causing a ton of pain. I can't wait to get it over with so I can finally be pain free.

No but my mom and dad have. Its gonna be weird not to scare you. My mom didn't get an implant so they left it heal and there was a whole were the tooth was obviously because of the roots. I don't know when they size everything up for the implants. They might do it after they pull it out.

One. About 15 years ago. I didn't bother with getting an implant so now I have a gap. But it's at the side so no-one can see it anyway. I figured why spend the money for something that's unnecessary.

I was told that since I have a molar above the one that's getting pulled, I'll need to get the implant to keep the top tooth from growing down.

Two front teeth. Only one was loose but apparently the dentist thought it convenient to pull out the firm other too because why the hell not?

Yes , I have.

It didn't hurt too bad but I did have a very puffy lip for a few hours.

I had a tooth grow over the top of my two top front teeth when I was a kid. I was crying my ass off before the dentist started, but don't remember much after so I'm guessing if wasn't that painful. They must've drugged me up pretty good.
