Different brands fit different feet the best. For example, Nike tends to fit people with narrow feet best. New Balance, Reebok, and ASICS tend to be more neutral. Also it depends on whether or not you need something with additional lateral support. Some shoes emphasize cushioning more, some emphasize stability/support more. If you want the lateral stability support, my recommendation is New Balance. They have a number of trainers in their lineup with a unique sole shape for extreme lateral support. For cushioning, ASICS. For versatility, Reebok or New Balance.
For a wider foot with good arch support?
New balance
Hmmmm, cool. Thank you! =)

Anything by Nike!
Oh, cool! I will check that out. =)
Free Runs are for running, not cross training. They are not trainers.
They work well though! @WeaponZero
The Free TRs are the trainers. Also Nike really only fits people with narrow feet well. For most people other brands provide a better fit.
Asics, then Reebok.
