It depends on how you budget. Just eat more raw foods , not like going fully raw vegan but introducing raw foods to your diet. It can be affordable. FullyrawKristina has a couple videos on how to eat raw on a budget. Also if your gums are inflamed i would try dabbing them with apple cider vinegar. Also plant based diets equal having better oral hygene. So eat less meat and more fruits and veggies.

There does not need to be extra cost if you eat normal healthy things, not artificial ones. Eat fruit for breakfast, and lots of vegetables for the other meals. Eat only healthy carbs (brown bread, rice, noddles, not sugar or sweetened things). Limit proteins and only eat fresh meat or fish.
Yes it is quite expensive unfortunately, look how much more organic food is compared to mass produced with pesticides on it, I try to mix it up a bit is all you can do unless you're rich
Oh dear, is a smoothie and popcorn really a meal to your? I can't imagine it would be that expensive to eat healthier... sandwiches or fruit aren't that expensive :D
