Do you think there's a cure for cancer but people are hiding it?

no, BUT I can tell you that the amount of money the government has put toward finding a cure is small compared to the money spent on Anti-smoking and other pet political efforts. The anti-smoking thing is just ludicrous. It is a disease that the average person is diagnosed with at 70+ years of age. The average man dies at 76 to 80... so for a thing that only knocks 8 years off a person's life they spent untold billions... but Breast cancer that women get through all ages... very little is allocated in terms of $$$$$
It just goes to show you, politics matters more than women to this government.

the government is just a mess everything is ridiculous with it in today, im training to be a teacher and everything i am seeing that the government is implementing is terrible. And i think that it is wrong that stuff like speed bumps and stuff that is not needed is being spent on and it could go to other things. People raise so much money for cancer and guaranteed it doesn't go on anything needed.

Eh this is one of those conspiracy theories... like that there's a cure but they with hold it so that we can balance the birth/death ratio to keep the world's population in check. I say if there was a cure it would be available because the person that discovers it will be famous.

And throwing this out there think of how much money is being pumped into cancer charities. I wouldn't be surprised due to the amount these charities get that theyd keep it a secret... this world is corrupt enough as it is. Nothing would surprise me anymore

No. There are methods of lowering the risk for cancer and treating cancer, but no cure. There are many different types of cancer, which responds differently to different treatments, so it's a bit silly to think there is a single "cure" for cancer that is hidden from us.

If someone or some medicine company had invented cure for cancer they would have earned enough many to buy a whole country. Besides that, medications are always being tested on patients when in the making process. I thoroughly believe it is conspiracy. I think it is more along the lines of Pharmaceutical companies making huge profits from cancers. People get diagnosed and spend the rest of their life on cancer meds which are big bucks. The profits would be so small if there was a cure or simple one time treatment. If somebody cures cancer they would 'nt release the cure. If your a business that makes money off of treating and researching cancer and you cure it. You have killed your money supply. Not to mention the marketing, pink breast cancer shirts won't sell anymore. Nor will the cancer awareness armbands.

If you understood the medical background of cancer, you'd see why magically curing it (as opposed to today's cancer treatments, which have rather nasty side effects and often limited success, especially for pancreatic cancer) is still far from the technological capabilities we have today. But we do know a lot about the common causes of cancer. Genetics only play a minor role, much of it is preventable. Smoking is a big deal, for instance.

(1.) There is no single cute for cancer, there's way too many forms and stages of cancers to have just one solid cure, we'd need dozens and dozens of them.
(2.) We have many treatments for cancer available, but some aren't that great. What we need more of is better treatments, not necessarily a cure.
(3.) 90% of people survive cancer if it's found early enough, only 10% survive if it's found late. We should focus more on better early detection methods.

The thing with cancer is it isn't a disease caused by an organism, like AIDS. It's mutation of cell reproduction going all the way to the DNA level. That makes it a much, much harder thing to "cure". But, with the modern advances in micro robots, I can see in the next 10-15 years mini robots that target and kill cancer cells before they get out of hand. But in the end, no one's getting out of this world alive. As much as I'd love to say it, I wouldn't want to live forever. I'm only 43 and already I can see the sunset. We're here for the time we have, so I try to make the best of it. My mom is 69; she's told me there's already days when she feels she's dying. I'm not to that point yet. But I do hope they find a cure, especially for the kids who have it.

I do not think that there is a cure for most cancers out there. If there was, why wouldn't they make it public and share it? I lost my mom to cancer a few months ago and they tried everything to save her. I think that they would have done something if they knew how to.

Of course that is very true but it bothers me for the fact my Dad lost his life to cancer and many people have as well and the cure could help so many people and even KIDS. That haven't got to live a life.

Yea people raise money for a lot of things from cancer to homeless and sick pet but people donate to help And some to actually feel good about theirselves but it a push and a faith that could be empty sad to say.

because we now have a cure for aids, and the world is developing, my thoughts are we've herd for years and years there searching for a cure and now 2015 still nothing, i keep seeing adverts everywhere and a lot of my family members have had or had died from cancer so i wanted other opinions to see if they have a believe or thought similar to mine, its just personal.
