Oh sweet fuck. Gurrrllll if you can have a natural birth, you go natural.
C-sections are freakin' nasty. They have to slice right through the middle of the rectus abdominis (6-pack muscle).
I have a girlfriend who had a perfectly normal C-section and it took her almost 6 months to be able to push a poop out again. For the first couple months she had to put a stool in front of her toilet, squat, and wait for it to slip out. (Yes, overshare.) Or use an enema if it got real bad. Ugghhh.
I have another girlfriend who recovered her muscle strength faster, but, the docs sewed her stomach up with absolutely NO fucking mind for aesthetics. Goddamn shelf on the bottom now, which she'll need plastic surgery if she ever wants to get rid of. This is distressingly common -- they're all about efficiency, in those birthing rooms. Zip 'em up, send 'em home. Bla.
Natural is, dead srs, just like taking the biggest shit of yr life. That's what it's like. (Oh, and, yes, you will definitely shit out actual shit, along with the baby. If you do one of those weird water-birth things, you better make SURE they change out the water WITHIN SECONDS after that baby comes out -- otherwise you got major biohazard.)
Srsly, this is not even close. You should do a C-section only if it is an absolute medical necessity, like, if yr hips are literally too narrow to pass the baby's skull, or something.
Natural is called natural for a reason. (:
For the record, I've had 3 natural deliveries and 0 c-sections.
It's called a poop stool and it's puts less strain on you using one c-section or not. Just a fun fact
Well I've heard that giving regular birth only hurts while you're in labor, and once your baby is out, the nightmare is over...
as oppose to c-section, where you feel almost nothing while giving birth, but weeks and weeks after your baby is out you have pain, you have an open stomach, and you can't even LAUGH! or it will tare xD! ... PLUS!! even YEARS after your baby is already a grown person, if you happen to lift anything that is too heavy, your c-section CAN still tear! :o! It happened to my mom...
I hope im able to ALWAYS conceive regularly! if i EVER have babies... cause I laugh wayyyy too much to put me through hell with this... D:
Well I shall be looking out for you in the Guinness Book Of World Records when you do!
Whatever you do don't do C-Section with the first child and then try vaginal the next time because it can lead to terrible complications, the uterus can rupture where it was cut before and the life of the mother and the child can be in danger. I don't know why but I heard a story of a woman who did that. So if you want to do vaginal do it the first time, if you want to have a C-Section have another C-sections if you have a second child. I herd there are certain advantages to vaginal birth, like a stronger bond between mother and child but in the end it's the mothers decision.
It depends how many children you plan on having. C-sections become harder and harder to do after each child.
In general outside of the risk associated with anesthesia:
C-sections are better for the long-term health of the mother and have fewer complications post-surgery.
Vaginal births are better for the long-term health of the child and makes subsequent births easier

If there is a choice, a vaginal birth is preferable by far. Less complications, less convalesence time, Statistically less infant and maternal mortality, more natural. There will be times when a C Section has to be performed, but if and when I give birth in the future, It will be a natural childbirth if I have any choice in it.
Huh... this is one of the few times a poll's results have been pretty much the reverse of what I expected. Supposedly it is healthier for the child to have a natural birth, so that's what I'd prefer. Technically it is healthier for the mom too.
I guess its comforting to know most women would prefer vaginal.
Definitely option B.
C-section may be an easier way out but it is a type of SURGERY. This always has some risk and I don't want to take that risk.
And giving birth is only takes at maximum 1 day and you're over with it. You can at least do that to have a baby.
Only in the US... I don't know any other place where "would you prefer a C-section?" is a seriously asked question.
The C-section rate is twice as high in the US as recommended by the WHO.

(Okay, apparently China and Brazil overuse C-sections even more.)
Vaginal birth is better for the baby, so I pick that if I can help it
Personally vaginal birth, I scar easily and I heard it was way more painful in the healing process to get a c-section, they should only be done if your health or the baby's is in jeopardy.
However painful it simply has to be a vaginal birth for me.. Having a C-Section would feel like I have been cheated out of giving birth naturally.
I guess I'll go for vaginal birth since you can recover faster naturally than when you had to be cut open.
I don't know if I could handle vaginal birth. Seems really painful, so I guess I'd go with S-Section.
@Hannah591 may I ask how is something natural when surgical instruments are involved?
But isn't it some women can't choose? Not everyone can give vagina birth lol
I'd prefer to have a C-section, a natural birth would be so painful
Obviously not a woman, but wouldn't it make sense if you plan to have more than one kid to do the C-section? Wouldn't they just reopen the same scar to make it easy?
Id do vaginal birth WITH drugs so I dont feel the pain. No thanks!
I would rather give a vaginal birth because it's the one recommended by doctors.
There are certain advantages to a vaginal delivery, but that's pretty obvious...
C-section bc i don't want my vagina to rip open? like ya no thanks.
I haven't given birth yet but I would go with vaginal if I was to give birth.
Vaginal birth? As in natural birth? That one
Neither. I would prefer my wife giving birth.
Lol!
I had natural birth so i'd go with this again.
