Let me tell you information about me that could chanhge or determine your answer

1st off
my mom had diabetes, she's not a diabetic anymore because she lost like 60 - 70 pounds
she's gotten used to diet sodas etc so she still treats herself as if she is a diabetic.

i went to the doctor today and they pricked me
im 5"10
296 lbs

i try to lose weight but it feels like im not getting anywhere
i wasn't active at all.. now im sort of active but im still gaining.

Of the symptoms above, i have 4/10
im always tired
im always hungryu
always thirsty
and my hand/ arm is always numb or tingling almost daily

I have no unhealed wounds
none of that sexual problem stuff
id say my urination is normal
and weight gain instead of loss

It sounds like you have diabetes

there's a chance you could have diabetes

Its unlikely you have diabetes

Diabetes does not go away ever. Once you have it you have it. She's treating herself like she has it because she still has it. She doesn't have the symptoms anymore because like you said she still treats herself like she has it. When the doctors pricked you I'm assuming they checked your glucose levels. What was it at?

they didn't tell us my mom was in a rush, and they just said theyd call her or something
and when they pricked me i didn't look because i dont like the sight of blood so i looked away then she squeezed my finger a few times and put a bandaid on it then i left
so i didn't really ask them for whatever that is

Ask your mother if she knows they would have said. Because while those are signs (I'm a diabetic trust me I know) what they checked will be infinitely more telling.
