How do I convince my mom to get me Apetamin tablets?

I have been trying for years to gain weight. I recently gained 15 pounds, but I'm stuck and my body is preventing me from gaining any more. I have tried EVERYTHING. I used to be 5'3" and 85 pounds and for some reason (idk how) I gained 15 pounds in six months... probably just puberty FINALLY doing what it is supposed to do. According to BMI I'm still underweight at 100 pounds. I'm thinking of getting weight gain tablets. How do I convince my mom to let me take them?

All apetamin does is increase your appetite, so it won't help more than just eating a bunch of calories would. I suggested chocolate because chocolate contains lots of calories per unit of weight so you can eat a lot of calories without your stomach feeling full, this is exactly what apetamin would help you do, only with normal food. The only things I can think of, if you really eat more than 2500 calories per day is that you either have a very active lifestyle or there is something wrong with your intestines causing you to absorb only a fraction of the nutrients you eat (well, in theory it could also be a parasite but that's highly unlikely in developed countries).

Well, I now go back to school which lets me walk all over the place and there are stairs everywhere, and while I was homeschooled, I gained 15 pounds because i wasn't doing anything much.

You weigh just 100 pounds so walking is unlikely to push you over burning 2500 calories per day, though it can get you close to it and then weight gain would be very slow. Remember a pound of fat contains 3500 calories so if you burn 2300 calories per day and eat 2500 it will take 18 days to gain just one pound. But like I said, it could be a problem with your intestines, you could ask a doctor about it. If he clears your intestines and you have no parasites then it's back to the basic calories in - calories out equation.
