Rabbits are great low maintenance pets. We had one for about 10 years through most of middle and high school and we ended up getting another one that eventually went with my brother when he moved out. My brother's friend had many rabbits, but unlike us, kept them in their garage, while we kept ours inside. My brother also got another rabbit that he just let run around the house and put his cage on the floor so he could hop back into the cage when he had to take care of the end result of eating and drinking...
Caring for rabbits is not much different than caring for a guinea pig, gerbil, mouse, rat or hamster. You clean their cage weekly with some sort of bedding and feed and water them daily. You can get larger food dishes and just refill their pellets when they run out, maybe once a week or even once a month. But, giving them fresh fruit and vegetables seemed to be the highlight of their day.
Each of our rabbits had different personalities. One was really relaxed and never bit me. The other one was a bit more moody and would nibble you, but never pierced the skin. We would take them out almost every day and just put them in our lap to pet them. Then, we'd let them hop around the living room and hallway.
I'd recommend getting one if you can commit to petting them and talking to them daily. The bedding for my guinea pig is about $25 a month and the pellets are about $10 a month. Now, I'm not getting top of the line stuff, but the price/performance stuff.

just get some earthworms they make great companions and will show you love and care and you can just find them in the ground and they just eat dirt and sh*t like that so you don't have to buy any food.
They're cute and fun to cuddle and play with but you have to clean their cages many times! I owuldn't recommend you have this pet if you're always busy and have to work a lot.If you have a lot of free time then yes they're fun to have (: sadly I gave mine away because it was too much work for me the fact that I was always busy.
They are awesome pets! But they take some taking care of. You have to clean there cage often and brush them, also give them excursive and good food. If you do, you can't go wrong with a bunny :3
