Buying bathing suits online?

1. Yes, bad idea I know. Only way I can get a victoria's secret one.

2. My issue is... I do not fit the sizing chart. My waist is NOT smaller than my bust... so I don't know what size to order. :/ Should I go with the size I mostly fit into? The problem is that's the biggest size they offer on pretty much all the bathing suits I'm looking at. :/

What is most important is to get a good fit. If the sizing chart makes it seem like the sizes don't suit you, buy a swimsuit from somewhere else! I would recommend trying on some one piece suits in a store so you can find one that's flattering. victorias secret only really caters to that one body shape, give or take a little weight. Don't try to force yourself into a suit that wasn't made for your body type. There are great swimsuits with spanx which could help your waist look more defined. Also, during summer there are great opportunities to exercise and lose weight like hiking and swimming

5'1 and 170, give or take 5 to 10 pounds at any given time. I've been trying to lose weight but it doesn't work out. I need better bust support, hence why I need to buy from here, its the only place I could think of.

I'd still say go for a one piece. It's easier to find one that fits and will probably help support your boobs better than a small bikini top. The one pieces from spanx seem to be good but I don't own one. I buy cheap bikinis from target.

But as for the weight, diet helps even more than exercise but it has to be a lifestyle change not a quick diet for a few weeks. I lost almost 10% of my body weight by going vegetarian over the span of a weeknor two. And by staying veggie I've kept off all

All the weight I lost and am moving closer to my final goal weight.I'm pretty happy with my weight now but want to lose a little in my legs. But if you can go vegan the weight loss is incredible. I haven't don't it yet but I have a vegan friend who lost all her excess weight by going vegan. They say you can lose 20lbs by diet alone. She lost the rest by training for and running a half marathon. Now she's training for a full marathon. Hope this helps!

Just read your comment about the overeating. Maybe you should see a therapist about that. They can find the root of the problem and help you retrain your behaviors. What I do to stick to my diet is that I package food into single servings in the fridge so I'm not heavy-handed with the portions. I also limit myself to one small treat a day that is under 100 calories. Like a real fruit ice pop because it's summer :) when I get a craving I either wait for 10 min or I count from 1 to 100 in my head

I'm actually going to be seeing a nutritionist real soon, just the way it works with my insurance is I have to have a recommdation from my primary doctor. so I'm hoping they can help. my friend has one and lost about 20 pounds since she started in March.

I had the same problem as you..I went by what size I wear in there (non thong) underwear to choose a size. They fit perfectly..and if not, you can always return for another size.

victoria's secret bikinis are waaaayyy overrated! seriously you will at least find 100 girls wearing the same bikini when you go to the beach.

i can't do bikinis, I have an eating disorder (the overeating one, not anorexia or bulimia) so I have stretch marks everywhere. so I think I'm okay. sadly I need better bust support and I've tried bathing suits from everywhere and nothing works.

First go to one of their stores and try on and see the sizes, then buy it online.

Or if you don't have access to a store, you can always buy it and then return it if it doesn't fit.

well bathing suits are elastic, so I'm sure it will fit if you just just order your normal size

if its a bikini get your bust size as it doesn't cover your waist. if its a takini or a 1 piece (does VS even sell those?) then get what is going to fit your waist as is the biggest part.

Does VS even sell them in stores? I always buy them online as well. But I get a bunch of sizes and return the ones I don't want
