My motto is, which works very well when eating, and that is , " we EAT to live, not live to EAT" and by remembering how true this is, I no longer eat unless really hungry, and even then, I eat a small portion and give myself half an hour to give my body time to register what I have eaten, and I am either still hungry or full after that half an hour gap, I never eat till I am full any more, because we need at least half hour for our body to know it has just been fed. So portion control is essential when we eat, otherwise we are all over eating on a daily basis.

Are you talking about energy usage like electricity and fossil fuels, or are you talking about food?
Your original question wasn't very clear.
I'm all for eating a healthy diet based upon the needs of your metabolism.
As for energy usage, the less we use of everything and try to conserve, the better. I'd like to think our generation can build a better world for our children rather than a depleted one.
What are your feelings about reducing what you consume? Would you try it?
Depends on what's being consumed. Less is not always best.
1. Food- f*ck no. I'll eat in the amount I want I'm blessed to have my genetics of fast metabolism & low bad fat..yes there are good fats.
2. Electricial- no. I'm already reducing my consumption there and I'm not into the eco hardcoreness of how low can I go.
3. Fossil Fuel- no. see above.
4. Water- no. see above.
You need to be clear in what you mean - it could be interpreted in a lot of different ways!
Are we talking how much food we consume or what?
