So: Tanning? How long till you actually GET tan?

It's 85 in Colorado today and I want to tan since I head back to school on Monday, it's also hotter outside tommorrow and I want to tan then, but HOW long do I have to tan to see a difference? Like all day on both days? A few hours? I'm not sure, I tan pretty normally, not too easily and its not too difficult either.

well I remember when I was in high school when it was really hot outside I would sit outside near my steps and just sit for a few hours and paint my nails ( hoping to get a little tan) and I noticed a difference. Sometimes its easier for people to get tan and sometimes it takes time for others. I am light well I believe I am so I think that's one of the reasons why I tan easily. I don't know if you would tan quick at 85 though. I stop wanting to get tan though after I went blond because I don't think it would look nice on me. Try tanning lotions when you are out or go to the beach, people seem to get tanner at the beach.

I'm not from a very hot or sunny country, but when the does shine, it takes me about 2hrs max to get a tan.

Usually I can lay out for a few hours and get sun burnt, then it soaks into a nice tan, and I only tan after that.
