That link just explains how diet contributes to about 80% of weight loss. Diets aren't really fun, but they work. I guess you could make them fun if you like to cook. Summer is a great time to bbq and there's lots of healthy bbq recipes :)
As far as exercise is concerned, 14 miles of biking is wayyyy too much I think. Lifting weights is fun, I go with my friends and it makes it enjoyable. Mountain biking and kayaking are other ideas!

Sports or other outdoor activities like paintball or go kart racing with friend. I live near a beach so we spend most of our time there playing frisbee or beach soccer.
If all else fails I think Px90 is really fun
If it doesn't come off naturally, it won't stay off. Don't think too hard about it. You'll lose the weight when you're ready to lose it.

I really recommend Taekwon Do or perhaps another form of martial arts to get fit. It's physically straining but fun as hell knowing you're learning how to kick someone's ass haha. Dance is also a lot of fun. It's sexy and feels great. A good summer sport is swimming lengths. I find it just so relaxing to be in the water, and it's so good for you. It's also a good activity if you've got back problems. Hope this helps have fun this summer! :)

Run 14 miles instead of cycling. I don't think cycling 14 miles a day is enough. You should do something more intense like running.
Experiment with different salads and play a sport that involves running.
