If you eat a lean diet, and lift weights you'll be both healthy and strong.
lifting weights not only increases muscle mass and strenght, but muscles burn calories a lot. so if you pumpin the iron, your body's matebolism will rise up, burning more calories and making you stronger.
Now, if you just want to be a toned/somewhat muscular dude than eating some fish, chicken and some protien shakes or bars you will be less fatty and more muscle.\
however, if you want to be a frigin' tank that lifts more than 200lbs (90+ kgs) in everything you'll have to compromise a little. and by that I mean you'll have to eat a lot of red meat and protien.

The keyword you used is efficiently. Obviously you'll won't be able to lose fat quite as fast as someone on a full blown fat burning routine/diet. Gaining mass involves limiting your cardio and eating enough calories and protein. Obviously that makes it hard to lose weight (efficiently), how ever the right diet and good weight lifting routine will also burn fat, just obviously not as quick as you would doing cardio every day and being on a diet.
Cardio mixed with weight training=lean muscle. Pizza and lasagna=starchy carbs, and excessive fat content. If you can actually work off all of the calories you eat then keep at it. If you're not getting the results you want though you need to either work out more, change the workout routine, or mix up the food a bit to include lean protein and vegetables.
Change your diet to consist only of protein--whey protein, protein shakes, beef jerky, chicken, meat, meat, meat, meat.

Gaining more muscle mass = more fat burned doing anything. You cannot target fat to burn, your body just uses it from all over. So in order to get abs, you need to lower your overall body fat. Doing crunches might build the muscles under the fat, but that fat will still be there so you may get a even bigger belly if you don't lower your body fat.
lololol man, you're f***in hilarious.
pizza and lasagna lololyes you can. When you gain muscle, you speed up your metabolism, so you burn fat while you are at it, plus you also burn calries when you work out regardless.
try focusing more in your diet. The way you eat now won't help you get what you want. Try eating clean foods.
As a beginner you can do both.
If you're further along, you can't efficiently do both at the same time.Definitely answered your own question with your diet.
Smaller healthier meals, more frequently.with that much running you'll end up burning muscle as well as fat
If your new to lifting than yes you can for a while, about a whole year but then you either have to put on mass or cut weight. I was able to do it for about the first 8 months.
It's possible. Google "Scooby's Workshop" and he tells you all about it.
