That is a big lead on. Everyone is different. You do realize weddings rings cost anywhere form $1000-$3000 dollars? And then you have to pay for the wedding. It is a massive financial undertaking.

In general though, when he is ready. He has obviously thought about and wanted to see if you were open to the idea.

I wanted to wait till my gf was out of college and worked a bit so she could feel like her own independent person.
