Why are women in America so arrogant?

i grew up here in America all my life and all my life I have noticed this. when I visit my native country, I noticed that women their are a lot more humbled, compassionate and don't mind giving their men unconditional love as long as they get it back. here in America in the other hand women are so arrogant and selfish; they always expect to get everything their ways, always giving their men ultimatums, they expect "more then the world itself" when they do something in their relationships etc(you know in other words, I see American women as daddy's little girls stuck on grown women's bodies). I mean, I'm not trying to criticize but that is how I see it along with many other men I know. what can really be causing this? is it our lifestyle? our culture? the law system or what?

another thing I noticed (as I mentioned below in some comments) is that everything the arrogance backfires, they victimize themselves. why do they do this!? is like they are only "women" when they want/need to be

I think the problem is with men. American men let American women get away with murder. It's like spoiled children.

Frankly if I marry it'll be a foreign woman. Just because I want someone to appreciate me and treat me half way decent.

I have a co-worker who married a girl from central asia. WOW. I am so impressed with her. She is happy, warm, feminine, she cooks and is appreciative of him. He busts his ass to take care of her and support her in kind. She's just fantastic. If I was him, I'd do anything for her.

The American girls I've dated are kinda cruel, always selfish. The girl I hang out with now, I couldn't get her to ask me how I am to save her life. She just blabs on an and on and on about herself and her problems.

The media and other women encourage each other to live a life of entitlement while at the same time claiming to be victims if they so much as break a fingernail. We have the highest rate of woman-initiated divorce and women with mental illness in the world. It is truly rare to find a respectful, stable and otherwise sweet American girl to consider for long-term relationships. It is really sad.

exactly! that's another thing I have notice. they are always opening up their own pandora box; then they wanna make us men look like the bad guys... by victimizing themselves or blaming others for their wrong doings. its so aggravating

My recommendation: Think about dating like a business. If one product is inferior, then go to a competitor. Your original supplier might not like that, but tough, they just lost a customer. I've been dating foreign women for years now and haven't looked back.

This is the United States, Which is considered a free country. Basically , Women here has more freedom. And I do believe we have more opportunities than a lot of other countries , Women here in America, Are more independent and we can take care of ourselves. Rather than a lot of women in other countries , mainly rely on a man or marriage.

I think your perceiving what I'm saying wrong, I didn't say I agree with it. I'm just stating the facts. I believe in the traditional marriage. I also agree with what you just said about marriages not working. I believe the man is the head of the house , But to a certain degree. Because someone has to be the leader and I think it's the man. I want my husband to lead me , But with respect. But we as people are getting away from that, That's why you need to pick your man wisely.

thats 100% true. but just remember that you can't start a family with just oxygen, water, food and shelter. even though that might not be your concern since "starting a family" is never the goal or priority of American women

I don't have to settle for just any guy who comes along who treats me however he wants. my happiness is also important, not like in some countries where women live to please the man and the man doesn't have to do anything for the woman but give her kids and shelter

Seems you have to chase after different types of girls here. American girls aren't all "arrogant and selfish" and if your handful is then they dealt with stuff on their own to be that way

Other countries treat woman as less so they are humble and loving. Here in the usa we wonder why woman are arrogant my opinion is we men act desperate for anything that moves- begging, pleading, flashing their job or money as if they are a product to purchase as the dress like they are going for the highest bidder. Men will steel a woman from a fellow man that is how low us men act. (Desperate!) She can have kids from many fathers, be fat or ugly or worse be nothing as a person but we men go nuts for shallow intentions. If we all just went for kind /loving morel woman they would need to comply or be alone. The opposite is true only in other countries. There you are mystery solved. Here even ugly woman believe they are entitled and most any man is undeserving and beneath them and the worth is measured by his wallet and not who he is as a person.

I agree with almost everyones comments actually both guys and girls on this. Yes I agree women can be arrogant and very mean here. I do believe both guys and laws here enable that. Do I think its for the better... no, definetely not! Just look at the divorce rate and messed up kids this country has. I believe a women is equal to a man and should have all the same rights. But what I do not believe is that just because she is a women she has the right to treat a man like crap just because she can. Thats a load of b#@&! In the dating sites it's true. Unfortunately I see too many women with an arrogant attitude looking down on me. I treat them with respect and kindness, and courtesy, but rarely see that in return. If they do not show interest, I leave them alone. Those that do respond who tell me they are not interested, I return a thank you and wish them the best!
