What does it mean when a person says you look ethnic?

It means they're not very socially adept. It's a meaningless thing to say anyway because everyone is of some ethnic group. It's like saying "you look human." Having said all that, they may mean that the person they say that to looks dark or mysterious in some way that is unusual for them. Or something.

I have to agree with this most. Essentially when someone says you're ethnic, they cannot classify the race you look like, but you don't meet stereotypical look of the general population they're used to seeing in a given area.

Different than what they usually see so it depends on where you are from. If you Sweden blonde Whites would be fairly common but in Japan or China youd be exotic
