Girl keeps ending text conversations?

So I've been texting this girl recently and it seems like almost every time I do she is hanging out with friends or something like that. She usually holds the conversation well but she responds about every 5-10 minutes, so not like immediately. Also after like an hour or two or texting she usually just stops replying. The first time this happened she texted me the next day saying she was sorry she didn't reply, she fell asleep. Now however she jsut doesn't reply and doesn't say anything else later. Does this mean she's not interested?

Also is there anything I should do in this situation like stop texting for a while or text more or something else?

Playing games like texting and then not texting are irritating to me, but I'm not sure if it's something that you need to do with this girl. See if she gives you a straight answer about the best time to call/text her, and then see how she answers. If she's vague and doesn't give you a straight answer, then ditch her.

She's with people, so it's technically rude for her to stop what she's doing with them to text anybody. It's not so much you, specifically.

Next time just ask her when is a good time to call or text her. When she tells you, then you can have a lengthy conversation.

i think she goes by that line of "only talk a little bit to guys to keep them interested, end conversations quickly"

She just wants to seem interesting by doing that, she might like you
