Alcohol.. What is is good for?

Alcohol... Nectar of the Gods to some.

To others.. a bandage to stop the hurt and pain.

Now you will wonder why I chose to be anonymous. Simple. I dont need or want the hate on this topic because when it comes to brass tacs, alcohol can go either way, can be your life blood as an addiction which I had a parent deal with, to people who are arrested and charged with a DWI / DUI.

This is another follow up to my posts about someone I been deal with the past few months. She said she didn't want a long term. Until I was able to convince her faith will help since she didn't believe in anything since the passing of her parent.

When she was drunk she and I had some fun on video messaging. Her ex reared his ugly head and thats when things went south. Two nights ago, she got drunk again but there was no "fun".. She still was cognizant of what was going on, unlike the last two times during the holidays.

She was saying the "drunk me" will talk to the "sober me". Jekyll and Hyde.

When it comes to this.. Drunk love shouldn't be there. Drunk sex does exist, but that's another story for another time.

When you are trying to get with someone, alcohol shouldn't play a factor in the relationship in deciding whether you tell them "I love you" or "I love your face" or "you really are a nice guy" when your drunk. Truth serum is the best. But love shouldn't require a truth serum.
