Why is my boyfriend so different now?

Ok, so here is the scoop... We've been dating almost a year, in the begging I wasn't even looking for a boyfriend, we were friends. He paid attention to every little detail about my likes and dislikes..and so on... So what won me over completely was that he was oh SO affectionate, the kisses, the caresses, completely catering to my emotions, he would stare into my eyes, talk to me about anything. I was in total awe that I had found someone that could make me feel the way he did.

So here's the ringer now after 10 months or so (this has actually been progressing over the last few) I have brought this up to him... and he says he has no excuse for why he's changed, just that he has "settled" into the relationship? He doesn't ever really have much to say...now it appears he's not much of a talker, and is almost not affectionate at all... well I take that back, except for when he's in the mood, and as soon as the sex is over.. bam.. cold door! I'm so confused.. please help!

Is it like when you're with a guy for a while and you get really comfortable in the relationship you occasionally forget to shave your legs? I'm like that with my man now, like I forget that sometimes it's nice to make the effort.

And I've had past boyfriends who stopped making the effort since they got with me.

Could also be that you're spending every second together that everything worth talking about the other already knows.

And are you being just as affectionate to him as you'd like him to be to you?

Make sure you're always open and honest with him, nothing wrong with telling him what you want, as long as you do it nicely of course.And make sure you ask him what he wants from the relationship.

I did that once to a girls and my reason being that by the time I got her in a relationship she wouldn't reciprocate.i would give everything and net nothing in return. so I kinda gave her the taste of her own medicine

Sounds like he's settled into some area that's comfortable for him, but not for you. Guess his attention span is waning.
