The anvil automation -the hammer isolationasim -the stiking object the petty right wing nationalist.
The examples for socialism commonly given by right wingers are totalitarian regimes masked as socialism. That is what happens when you don`t have an in-depth understanding of things and only go by superficiality.
Stalin and Maoist China where not exactly social or functioning as an inverted pyramid power flow rather more in line with fascism where any decent get squashed.
As for globalism it is not something bad inherently. It is the savage exploitation of greedy multinationals on poor nations abroad and shit wages at home. That gives it a bad rep. no need to explain again Ditto^^
I mean you can`t have your cheap made in China goods and then blame China for stealing jobs.
On the topic of China you isolationist never learn from history 18th century China was the super power of its day and it shut its doors to the outside world becoming the forbidden kingdom thinking it doesn`t need all those backward countries.
Guess what all the new innovations outside its wall coupled with lack of internal competition by the mid-19th century major Gordon was in the middle of China plundering its resources China became weak and thus exploited.
The pinch will really be felt with imported goods, and make them difficult for the average person to buy, this will lead to inflation. I’m not convinced that an isolationist country - will really get the world to buy its goods again ( no trade balance). Lower quality locally manufactured produce from a broken down supply chain Or that manufacturing jobs will miraculously crop up employing millions of workers. It also goes against common sense given that economic sanctions cripple countries just look at North Korea and Saddam`s Iraq. And here you want the same.
The real Tiger and not the paper one is Artificial intelligence Ai
It is not in some distant time but even as early as the 2020s could be dire times. The US government has forecast 83% job losses for workers earning less than $20/hour. Oxford, B of A, Nomura and other reputable think tanks have all forecast 40%+ job losses across categories.
By way of contrast, job losses in the Great Depression peaked at 25%—and those jobs came back. These won’t.
A means of earning money will be near impossible outside arts and human consultancy. Which will be few and sparse. The current credit based economy won't work since ratings are based on real life points. The multinationals will just depend more on the emerging economies to buy their goods.
A universal income i.e. socialism won't happen given the current situation mention the word socialism in some parts of the America and its like insulting someone’s father.
So when the pendulum swings back those isolasonist won't be welcomed in the new global power houses. Europe will revert back to its middleages back water status this time bringing the Anglo new world countries with it.

Ah yes, the exonerating Socialism from its inevitable failures by denying it ever "truly" existed:

Nor is putting one's own country first "isolationism". Far from it. Your idea is to overextend and drain. What a disaster.
Lots of economic models built on social capitalisim are thriving and rank highest on the human development index. America exiting NAFTA isn`t exactly building new markets and leading growth and prosperity.
Since when is asking for better terms on NAFTA "Exiting" it? Neither President Trump, nor any of his advisors, have pushed for outright exit.
You act as if globalism is something we just have to bend over and take up the backside. Wrong. It is something that we can seek on better and more favorable terms.
The day of pathetic SJWs is over. Get your ass back to Berkeley.
