I've always loved documentary's and reading about strange facts and people here are some of my favorite examples.
Thái Ngọc.
It is claimed this man has not slept for 43years even though i'm not sure of there being any documented prove Thai Ngoc claims he could not sleep since 1973 after catching a fever he says that it has not affected his health as far as he knows..apart from a small decline in liver function.. he used 3 months of his sleepless nights building two ponds.
Yoshiro Nakamatsu.
Yoshiro Nakamatsu is a Japanese inventor he invented the floppy disk, cinema scope and the taxi meter.. For a period of 34 years he took a picture of every single meal he ate.. his goal is to live till 140 years old.
Jyoti Amge.
Jyoti Amge is the smallest living woman according to Guinness World Records.. due to her size all her clothes and jewelry are custom made including her plates and utensils.. she has a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia and will not grow any taller than her current height.. she has starred in bollywood movies and American horror story.. she is only 11inchs tall.
Gretchen Molannen.
A woman who can have up to 100 orgasms a day who suffered from a rare illness genital arousal disorder.. she couldn't work due to this illness yet wasn't allowed disability allowance.. it made dating extremely hard because it gave her a fear of sex and sexual contact sadly she committed suicide in 2012.
Jeanne Louise Calment.
Jeanne Louise Calment was a French super centenarian who has the longest confirmed human life span of 122 years born in 1875... she met Vincent van gogh (the artist) at 13 and said he was dirty badly dressed and disagreeable.. she credited her long life to olive oil, port wine, and 1kg of chocolate a week, she still used her bike at the age of 100.. she also apparently smoked no more than two cigarettes a day.
Maria José Cristerna.
Born in 1976 a lawyer from mexico.. she is famous for her transformation of turning herself into "vampire woman" she also does freak show acts.. the reason she did this she said was because she was partly because she was abused.
Robert Pershing Wadlow.
Robert Pershing Wadlow is the tallest person in history..he was born on 22nd day of February in 1918.. his height was due to Hyperplasia of his pituitary gland and he showed no indication of an end to his growth even at the time of death... before his death he was measured 8ft11inchs.. unfortunately he died on 15th July 1940 due to a infection.
Sadhu Amar Bharati.
One day in 1973 in a extreme religious act.. Sadhu Amar Bharati decided to raise his hand in the air as a honor the Hindu deity Shiva and said he kept his hand raised ever since he said he experienced numbness and extreme pain but eventually it went away and now his arm stands erect completely on its own.
Natasha Demkina.
Born in 1987 from Russia Natasha claims to be able to see through peoples skin into there bones and diagnose diseases
She was invited to come to London and New York for scientific experiments..Some American scientists hesitated to come to such a conclusion.. because she got four patients right out of seven.. she also passed another test in tokyo where they confirmed the gift of the xray girl.
Domingo Joaquim Chiquinho.
Domingo had become an Internet sensation about two years ago, when videos of his incredible mouth stunts became viral on Youtube.. Guinness world records tracked him down where he got the record for the worlds biggest mouth.
hahah the little girl is super cute lol... what does this mean? it essentially tells you that literally anything is possible given the right conditions... that means we could have a planet earth with billions of tiny people or super tall people...

John Pilger- A truly extraordinary man. I did a thesis on Cambodia in the wake of Pol Pot and the galling Killing Fields. How active Pilger was in bringing this to the attention of all was so admirable
how is someone having multiple orgasms a day an extraordinary? it distracts them from their routines. It is a torture when a person have no control over their bodily functions at the wrong time.
