Why are black people such bad tippers?

Anonymous
I work as a restaurant server, and black people are far and away the most difficult customers we have. They complain more than others, they're more rude than others (i. e. making rude and personal comments), but the biggest thing is that they tip much less than people of all other races. Every now and again I'll serve a black couple in which the man will tip well, but that's maybe 1 time out of 20. Most black customers will tip at most $3 regardless of their total, and black women are most likely to leave no tip. People of other races tip me very well. What gives?

Thanks, everyone, for the responses. It's sad that so many people are unable to discuss anything involving race in a rational manner.

And for black people, next time you don't get great service at a restaurant, it's likely not because the staff is racist, it's just that they know most black people don't believe in tipping.

It's pretty clear from the comments that black people suffer from a strong sense of entitlement. They expect primo service but are unwilling to pay for it. People aren't serving you because you deserve it, they're doing it as a function of their jobs, jobs they work for compensation. In my experience, black people are the last to tip and the first to complain about their service. That's the residue of living in a welfare state in which they expect handouts as the wages of white guilt.
