Kissing is a gesture that you make only to your love ones in Korea
Kiss on the cheeks, kiss on your hand, kiss on your forehead, kiss on the lips etc etc
Only to your dates or bf or husband 🙊
I know some Korean family, they kiss on the cheeks or lips of their child... and as they grow old they also think it is a bit weird to kiss on the cheek even with family.

It's infatuation. It's means a lot more in korean culture then it does in western society. It's a gesture used to show love and respect to loved ones or ones close to.
Family members by blood, husbands, wives, etc.
It means you are attracted to that person, i. e. you want to date that person.

I don't think it's only common for loved ones or family. In korea skinship is very common. You'll sometimes see two men holding hands on the street while in other cultures that would sound gay. It's just a gesture of closeness and doesn't have to have any sexual intentions
