I'm sorry for your upset but you've got to realise... poems are weapons to be used on girls you're certain about, girls you know like you, girls you can 'trap' with your rhymes!
The amount of girls I've written poems for?... lost count. They were girls that liked me, girls that just needed that little nudge into 'the danger zone', the zone filled with a disease they thought was love, the zone were they were mine ;)
With everyday my feelings grow,
With every glance I'm in awe of your beauty,
With every second with you by my side,
Making you happy feels like my duty,
Your face, the light that steals my attention,
If you are a queen, I'm just a drone,
Your grown would sparkle but go unnoticed,
As your eyes glisten brightly, more than any precious stone,
So after two verses, you're in my arms,
Telling me I'm special, more than content,
My smile, you THINK is of 'love and joy',
But if sex was a home, this poem would be rent,
You're female, naive, easily blinded by words,
If I choose them well, I'll make you ill,
You'll fall for me and my meaningless crap,
I'm a predator with a difference as I slowly kill,
As I kill you with passion with the blade in my pants,
It's quite ironic how you cry and moan ;),
And it's quite upsetting... for you that is,
That when I find my new 'queen', you'll be alone!

It's more then likely, like 95% of the women you'll ever talk too will like it when you write them poetry so I'd do it regardless, play the numbers sir.
well...personally I think that if the poem isn't very good (which of course is hard to judge when it's poetry, really a personal thing), it's just kind of awkward. its like, "oh thanks for that I'm glad you can rhyme flower with power and shower, that's really..uhh...nice". OK so stupid example but you know what I mean? It's like unless you have a really neat original idea, it's best to just write a note or something. make sense? I don't know..one of those makes sense in your head things maybe.
Hello, English Major here! Of course I do! Unless it's those kind of poems that are really generic like, "Your hair reminds me of dew on grass."
Then it's like, thank you for making a generic love poem. Haha.

Quite a few women like poetry I believe quite a few women loved this poem I wrote lol.
When a writer falls in love with you,
You will become the unwitting inspiration of a whole mess of ink
You will find poems singing praises of your beauty
Eyes like sapphires a smile like a cool summers eve and a soul pure as virgin snow
Gods will be in your shadow and queens at your feet
You will see hints of yourself everwere in stories, books and poems
The quirk I thought was always funny and cute
Will find its way onto a unknown character your personal affects
Will mysteriously disappear and show up in a poem or story
And belong to characters you never knew but yet are you
That ring you own but never wore will find its way on the finger of a women
In a cab in a short story or poem
But most importantly when a writer falls in love with you, you can never die
Because long after you are gone my words shall remain and within them you
Forever immortalized in inkI like to know his thoughts and his feelings. It doesn't need to be a poem, it doesn't need to be written down. It is just nice to hear what he thinks of me.
I love writing and respect poetry for the skill involved. That being said, I prefer poetry that is clever or thought provoking. I don't like romantic poetry.
Yes I do! Especially if a guy writes a poem for me, really sweet, I think it is. I like poets since I write poems myself. ;)
