Why is my ex sending me random emails?

Ex sent me a couple of emails with silly unimportant questions. She is unofficially with someone else even before she broke up with me. I've been on NC with her for a few weeks now and I'm not sure what she is trying to do. How should I respond or if I should at all?

I think that is silly when people break up and then act like they don't know each other. You shared 3.5 years of your life, and suddenly she is dead? You want her back but you are afraid she is playing games with you. Answer her question. Just be upfront and tell her, you are not going to let her weasel her way back in your life and hurt you. Also tell her that if she is contacting you behind her new guys back, what she is doing is wrong. If she wants to be friends, but you're not ready for that. Let her know what she did to you was a bit like betrayl and you are not ready to be friends with some one you can not trust. And ask that she respect your decision. Just remain respectful and keep your boundaries.

It depends on what's written in those e-mails. Things like what? what does she ask for?

-1 was to mention that she saw an item that I wanted to buy a long time ago and asking if I'm still interested in it.

-2 was to ask if I want a voucher she bought for us a while ago.

-3 was to ask if I needed her passwords to enter the site to get that voucher.

All of of her emails seems very upbeat.

I think the guy was so lame and therefore she wants you back, but she wants YOU to make that move. If you're done with her, just ignore her messages. I think she's super immature and careless about what she did to you.

If I do make the move, doesn't that give her all control? BTW I have not responded to her emails yet, and it has been 3 days.

We've been together for 3.5 years and she always had serious issues with communicating her feelings/emotions. She did give me the old "I love you but not in love with you" follow by the "I don't love you anymore" lines before she broke up with me. Do you really think she is trying to give me hints? or just trying to string me along?

I think you should NOT go back to her...she probably got lonely or maybe horny. She might not know what she wants.

You should go cold turkey & lose that habit. There are tons of cool chicks out there!
