Presidential Race Almost Dead Even, But Guys Lean Toward Trump and Girls Want Clinton (GaG Poll Results)

The presidential race is heating up as we're into the final hectic month before the elections.

And according to a recent poll held here on GaG, the race is down to Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton (no real surprise there, as candidates Johnson and Stein don't have a chance), and guess what?

It's almost dead even. A few interesting points to take away from this:

Third-Party Candidates are Dead in the Water...But They'd Have a Better Shot at GaG

Despite a great myTake explaining why voting for a third-party candidate isn't wasting your vote, it's clear that people at this site - and across America - just aren't willing to do it, even if it means getting stuck with either Trump or Clinton.

That being said, it's kinda cool that a higher percentage of GaG users are willing to go third-party, as Johnson and Stein actually got a combined 21 percent of the votes.

Guys Still Favor Trump, Girls Mostly On Clinton's Side

Not really shocking here. I do think it's interesting that the girls who are on Trump's side can be awfully vocal. The anti-Trumpers just dismiss the Republican candidate without saying much (besides something like, "he's just an egotistical pig"), but the pro-Trumpers tend to have a lot more to say. Those for Clinton can also be quite adamant but again, this is mostly among females.

Clinton's Health Coming Into Play...?

Trump has been earning some really nasty negative headlines lately (and well deserved, many say), but that hasn't seemed to sway the tide in favor of Clinton. And in reading the comments, it could be due to Clinton's questionable health situation. Many believe she's hiding something quite serious - those who know their history will recall that FDR actually had polio, though the majority of Americans had no idea at the time - and it could be something like Parkinson's.

Obviously, this would have a serious impact on anybody's ability to run a country. So perhaps this is factoring in...?

I don't know what polls you're looking at. 3rd parties are doing better than ever. Trump is getting absolutely anhilated by Clinton in the polls. She's projected to win even if every current swing state goes to Trump. It will likely become even more one-sided as the Trump sexual assault accusations pile up, as they likely will. My earlier comments were, of course, exaggerations.

But honestly, his ideas do not work. Attending the University of Chicago (yes, THAT U of C) over the summer, some of my friends taking courses in Economics described how their professor railed on the ideas of Bernie Sanders.
Out of all of the candidates, he stated, Kasich was the only one with some idea as to how economics work. I happen to agree with him.

The truth of the matter is, things such as a raise in minimum wage or free college look good on paper and may work in other countries, but to try and implement them in the Union now would be detrimental to say the least.
A minimum wage hike would cut jobs from the market by both making large corporations more inclined to implement worker free productions and services and making driving down profits in small businesses. Not to mention, you would gain little from a minimum wage hike because the prices of products would adjust accordingly.

And if you don't believe that, wait until there's another live stream really for both, you can catch them on youtube. Trump usually has about three rallies per day live streamed on youtube. Just type in Right Side Broadcasting or Trump live. You will see that Trump has literally thousands and thousands of viewers viewing his live streams. you will also notice that chat area while the live stream is going. There you will find almost absolutely no support for Hillary what so ever. Then when Hillary does a live really look for her live stream on youtube. But interestingly Hillary only gets average a couple of hundred views and they're all against her and for Trump. Not even her trolls are supporting her anymore and as many women are supporting Trump as men. Then there's the online polls and they're all showing Trump with leads up to 94% with Hillary only having about 7%. Now if Trump and Hillary were actually that close in the polls, don't you think that would reflect on line too? Do the math.

It's not really dead even, actually. Maybe on public opinion, which is both on all time low, but based solely on electoral vote projections, trump, if you go conservatively on swing states, is projected to get destroyed... Also, I wouldn't say that it's very dead even in terms of support, but the amount of unapologetically annoying trump supporters and cancer filled Clinton advocates are just way more brash that you hear from them more. That's how things work. Like if you go on a Fox News site, you'd think that 98% of the country likes trump. You go on msnbc and you'd swear Clinton is curb stomping him. In reality, 80% of the country is either on the fence or just straight up fed up and doesn't give a shit. And if you want proof, it's reported that about 1/2 republicans don't like trump and 1/5 aren't voting for him, while I think 1/3 democrats hate the she witch and 1/7 aren't voting for her/opting for a 3rd party... Moreover, the real importance is electoral votes. Even the most conservative ones still have Hillary massively shitting over trump. Like it or not, that's the truth. He isn't even holding North Carolina, which is about the 5th easiest state for a republican to hold and at 1 point, barely holding onto Utah. Also most have him losing Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida, all key states. In most conservative polls have her winning 270+. A lot have her towards the 300s and some even have her as high as 340. I have yet to see an actual map where he was leading, let alone have the necessary 270 for the bid

I don't know why there are so many Takes of a particular perspective but that's what's coming down the pike. If anybody wants to write contrasting or rebuttal Takes, that's always great. It certainly isn't GaG's fault that such Takes aren't showing up, though. I will always prefer variety and Takes rebutting/responding to other Takes are a bonus.

There are so many takes because people, for some stupid reason, think that what they say has merit as if someone from the other side will have an epiphany... That's generally not how politics and people work. People will just disagree more and argue more. Anyone who has studied a dick of politics know that. When presidents debate, assuming they aren't trump, they typically are fighting for the 10-15% in the middle cause they have their party secured, especially in key states

Clinton brought a former Secretary of State to one of her rallies and that Secretary of State said that there is a "special place in hell" for women who don't support Clinton. Where did you get this idea that they are dead even? I have taken to Las Vegas odds rather then the political pundits. And the Vegas odds puts a 1050 point spread between them. 650 points for Hillary and 400 points against Trump. Or in other words if you were to put a bet on the election if you put $1.00 on Trump and he wins you would win $400.00 and if you put $650.00 on Hillary you would win $1.00 if she wins.
