Why does he think he knows me?

There's this guy and we're pretty cool we talk, but we're not that close to where he can say that he knows me good enough. I was listening to a friend talk and she was saying how these people were being rude and snobby, so I said tell them to shut up or punch them in the face which I would do(not in public). The guy over hears our conversation and says to me you're not going to punch anybody in the face and I walk up to him and say excuse me and he said it again and then says I know you well enough and I just stared at him said OK and walked away. It made me mad because he doesn't know me well, every time I try to actually talk to him he pushes me away, so really we've never got to know each other well. I know it's dumb, but it just made me a little mad because now all of a sudden he thinks he knows me.
