Should I ask a busy guy out?

I'm really attracted to this guy, who's really busy. I don't see him very often, but I talk to him when I do.

Are busy guys interested in relationships? Or do they prefer to not have steady girlfriends encroach on their busy schedule? Should I let him know that I'm interested? Or just leave it alone?

Yeah let him know that your interested if you've known em for a little bit anyways and if he doesn't seem interested just move on.

Alot of guys actually use the word "busy" to let a girl down slowly if they aren't attracted but you can never really tell if he is or isn't attracted until you make a move and if he doesn't pick up on it then he isn't really attracted.

  But, I know he's busy not because he's used the word to me, but because we do the same course and whenever he gets the chance to talk to me, he tells me about projects he's doing in school, and also what work is like [he works part time] I also know, from knowing and talking to him casually that he's a writer for a local paper--so it's pretty obvious that he's busy, even though he's never said "I'm busy" to me.
  
  So I'm not sure if asking him out would be inconsiderate.

  Na it's not inconsiderate when you like someone and ask someone out, your just trying to see if they are feeling the same way. Regardless of how busy someone is if they like you they will be happy about it even if they need some time to figure out when they can see you. I think it's kinda inconsiderate for people to not try and see if anything is there because everybody needs somebody and life's too short to waste.

Think of this point of view. Maybe he is busy, because he is single. Since he does not have a girlfriend whom he is obligated to spend time with, he just spends his time working more. He has nothing else to do. Maybe if he gets a girlfriend, she will give him an excuse to not work overtime so much.

  Yea, you know this is a very valid point. When people are single, they usually find ways to make themselves busy if they aren't the types to mope around.

I don't think there's any harm in letting him know. There isn't a definite answer to whether or not busy guys want relationships because it depends on the guy and the situation. I'd suggest you see what he thinks of the idea. It's the only way you'll know for sure.
