He's calling me sexy but he has a girlfriend already?

I think there's a couple explanations. He could just be "harmlessly" flirting. He could be putting his feelers out to see if you'll flirt back, thinking in the back of his mind that he might break up with his girlfriend. He could actively be looking for someone else. He could not even realize he's doing it!

If it means something to you, I say you just bring it up "casually," like "sexy, huh? What's up with that? " or something more smooth, but you get it. Otherwise, take the self-confidence boost and just let it go. Maybe flirt back a little, why not?

When you say "lately", does that mean he has only recently started coming on to you, calling you "sexy", etc.? He didn't do that before? If so, I think it means he's getting more into you, and less into his girlfriend. But, as lordian says, the kind of guy who does that to one girlfriend will do it to his next girlfriend, too -- so you probably want to keep your distance. On the other hand, if this guy throws around terms like "sexy" to lots of girls, then maybe he just thinks of himself as a "player", and is not really coming on to you. (But that's another reason to steer clear, right? ) Either way, I'd keep this guy at arm's length. Good luck!
