Just read the comments. Several women admit this to be true. This is a secret that women dont even realize they do. Most female actions are subconscious and then other excuses are used to justify behavior. But think about it. When do most breakups happen? Right around Valentine's Day into spring... women are assessing their sexual attraction for the summer. They think of guys. Their mind wanders. Energy shifts. They dump the guy and say... lost interest.. not you its me... etc. but deep down? "I want to be single on vacation..." or "i want to meet new guys during the summer..."

So at 20 you are in college right? So just study your girlfriends in college. dont ask them just watch the girls who have boyfriends. Most likely they will break up with boyfriends from high school when they go to college. why? sex with new hot dudes. Then when they are in college and dating a guy they may break up with a guy during summer break. WHy? get back with ex back home or go to their home town for new hot guys. sex again.
So just watch the times when ladies break up with guys when you are in college. They are either cheating by texting a whole bunch of guys and going to their dorms secretely. or they have a "long distance relationship" back home but are having sex with other guys in college. Or they are just breaking up with guys and then being back in relationships based on new guys that come along. Its all a game at your age.

@Apope16 I agree with most of your points, but I think why you have triggered women (not naming anyone - I swear LOL) and some men is because you are fundamentally speaking, using intense realism and broad statements = natural triggering points. Moreover, application wise, I think ultimately your broad statements come down to how attractive the woman is/if she has options.
My two exes were models and they were the kind of women that had men turning their heads when they walked. At the same time, some girls who I have liked that were not as attractive had a mentality of... a buy and hold strategy.
Everything is case by case. but in my experience, women who have options do adhere in many cases to the points you gave in your mytake, but if she has limited options, these rules will have limited influence.

Spring break is an American thing in name, but we here in the Netherlands do have very similar events that match spring break. Only our spring breaks often happen in famous holiday destinations. In the end, the same thing applies really. I would also like to see some evidence of men cheating even though stats are often skewed against men. Don't want to believe me? Then go ask a user named OlderAndWiser and he will be glad to tell you more about it. I believe both genders are on a similar level when it comes to cheating. There are sources that say men cheat more and at the same time you see sources that say the opposite. Cherry picking to suit your confirmation bias isn't going to help anyone.
