When I look back at my marriage that ended almost two years ago I realized how emotionally abusive it was. My ex never gave me a compliment, he told me he loved me once during 10 years and later denied saying it. He didn't pay attention to me and told me many times that no man would ever want me. When we finally divorced I felt free in the beginning. Now I'm feeling depressed and desperate because his words came true. Ever since my divorce I haven't met anyone, been on a date, talked a man outside of work. Just the other day I tried to accept the fact that I will forever be alone and that he was right. Has anyone ever felt like this? What happened after you accepted the fact that you're unworthy of love and attention?
