@wankiam I’m downvoting simply because - it’s not true. I am from a poor country in Southern Asia and two of my community members are divorced. My uncle from UK has divorced and remarried back home with no issues.

but what you seem to be ignoring is the fact that whilst most people you know are happy, there are exceptions and also you assume that in the west we must all have loose morals. that simply isn't true. maybe you could ask your uncle from uk how many muslim women end up in refuges here in the uk. sorry you dont like harsh realities but dont feel you can deny them simply because you dont want to believe it. far fewer honour beating/killings of females here in the western culture
